Chalk Art Festival

Saturday, April 28

Gather your family, friends & little ones for a celebration of art at the Westgate Entertainment District Chalk Art Festival. Watch as local artists create eight colorful & unique 8-foot murals throughout the district. Kids & parents can enjoy live music & unleash their inner artist as they make their own chalk masterpieces in the KidZone. Plus, vote & bid for your favorite mural to benefit SAACA.

Community Mural & KidZone

Come play at the designated KidZone area & participate in the community mural. Chalk will be provided & art instructors will be on hand to assist children & participants.

  • People Who Could FlyFountain Park, 12-4pm

    Indie Pop Band
    People Who Could Fly is an indie pop band formed in 2013 and based in Phoenix, AZ. The group's style draws influence from acts such as Walk the Moon, The 1975, Cage the Elephant and Two Door Cinema Club.

    People Who Could Fly has performed with national acts including Rick Springfield, Howard Jones, Roger Clyne, and Reel Big Fish. The band also provided entertainment for The Arizona Cardinals NFL games in 2016. Their album "Neon Electric" was produced by Grammy-winner Robb Vallier (Gin Blossoms, Foo Fighters, Miranda Lambert).
