Fitness in the District

Tuesdays, 6:30–7:45pm

We’re baaaaack! And ready to remix your routine at our FREE 8-week fitness series. Feel the burn with fresh formats that blend the latest workout trends with traditional techniques, including EDM BODY FITNESS™, Zumba, Barre HIIT, Insanity Live, COMMIT, Core De Force, Pound & more! Plus, dress up to different themed workouts & win great giveaways each week! Certified instructors will teach a 60-minute workout on stage to bumpin’ DJ beats, while fitness motivators work the group & assist attendees with moves & modifications as needed. Then, stick around after class to ask questions & receive individualized instruction.

EDM BODY FITNESS™, Zumba, Barre HIIT, Insanity Live, COMMIT, Core De Force & Pound include plyometric drills, intervals of strength, power & resistance, kickboxing, yoga, dance & abdominal & core training moves.

There is no equipment or weights needed; you’ll learn proper form & technique — including how to modify where needed for your fitness level.


Hilda Young is a fitness professional & founder of dance party workout, EDM BODY FITNESS™. She has presented at the Fitness Fest Convention in Mesa, AZ, & is a Fitness Educator for PBS KIDS in San Antonio, TX. Her love for music & movement earned her a role with music-driven workout app – FITRADIO as a trainer collaborator. In 2018 she launched Family Fit Fest™: An active health & fitness festival that brings families, fitness & education together. When not on the dancefloor, you can find her partying it up on a bike, as she is a Schwinn cycle certified instructor. Hilda is a postpartum depression & anxiety warrior that is currently working on a guided cardio & mindset podcast. On her off-time, she enjoys camping & the outdoors with her family & two young boys.
