Thom Tran is a Los Angeles-based comedian, musician, actor, and U.S. Army Combat veteran who began his stand-up career after surviving a gunshot wound to the back of his head while deployed to Iraq. He created the internationally touring, all-veteran comedy group The GIs of Comedy, which has performed for troops in combat zones and was featured on Netflix, CBS, and NBC. Based in Hollywood, Thom has appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles, SEAL Team, and will star in the 2025 dark comedy My Dead Friend Zoe alongside Morgan Freeman, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Ed Harris.
